Honoring Dedication: PAGASA Recognizes Loyalty and Service Awardees

DOST–PAGASA conducted its annual PAGASA Loyalty Service Awards during the 2025 Thanksgiving Program on December 12, 2025, at the PAGASA Central Office in Quezon City.

Following the Thanksgiving Mass, participants from various divisions, offices, and stations attended the awarding ceremony recognizing retirees and personnel who have served the agency for decades. One of the highlights of the program was the recognition of employees from both the central and field offices who have dedicated over 40 years of service to monitoring the country’s weather and climate.

In his message, PAGASA Administrator Dr. Nathaniel Servando commended the hardworking individuals who made the agency’s excellent service possible. He emphasized that each employee played a vital role in guiding the country toward safety and preparedness.

Also present were Ms. Shirley J. David, Deputy Administrator for Administration and Engineering Services, Engr. Roy A. Badilla, Deputy Administrator for Operations and Services, and Dr. Marcelino Q. Villafuerte II, Deputy Administrator for Research and Development, along with the Division Chiefs, PAGASA personnel, and guests who joined in the celebration.
