DOST-PAGASA at the 2nd Tarlac Provincial Science Fair 2026

DOST-PAGASA participated in the 2nd Tarlac Provincial Science Fair 2026 held at Bulwagang Kanlahi, Diwa ng Tarlak, Tarlac City from February 2 to 6, 2026. This event was organized by the Provincial Science and Technology Office-Tarlac (PSTO-Tarlac), in partnership with the Provincial Government of Tarlac.

This week-long fair engaged students, educators, and the general public through interactive exhibits, robotics activities, and hands-on learning experiences which aims to promote science, technology, and innovation in the province.

DOST-PAGASA showcased its Flood Simulator as part of the technology exhibits. A lecture was conducted for senior high school students by Ms. Julie Ann Delda, Weather Observer from the Space Science and Astronomy Section-RDTD, titled "Wonders of the Universe: An Introduction to Astronomy". One of the highlights of the event was the telescoping session for students and the public, providing them with an interactive science learning experience.
