“INDAY” HAS EXITED THE PHILIPPINE AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY.

• Heavy Rainfall Outlook
• Refer to Weather Advisory No. 20 issued at 11:00 AM today for the heavy rainfall outlook due to the Southwest Monsoon.
• Severe Winds
•  
• The wind signals warn the public of the general wind threat over an area due to the tropical cyclone. Local winds may be slightly stronger/enhanced in coastal and upland/mountainous areas exposed to winds. Winds are less strong in areas sheltered from the prevailing wind direction.
• Minimal to minor impacts from strong winds are possible within any of the areas under Wind Signal No. 1.
• The enhanced Southwest Monsoon and the periphery of Typhoon INDAY will bring strong to gale-force gusts over the following areas (especially in coastal and upland areas exposed to winds):
• Today: Most of the country.
• Tomorrow (12 July): Most of Luzon, most of Visayas, Zamboanga del Norte, Misamis Occidental, Lanao del Norte, Camiguin, and Davao Oriental.
• Monday (13 July): Most of Luzon, Western Visayas, and Negros Occidental.
• HAZARDS AFFECTING COASTAL WATERS
• A Gale Warning is in effect over the northern and eastern seaboards of Northern Luzon. For more details, refer to Gale Warning No. 8 issued at 5:00 AM today.
• 24-Hour Sea Condition Outlook
• Up to very rough to high seas over the following coastal waters:
• Up to 7.0 m: The northern seaboard of Batanes.
• Up to 6.0 m: The remaining seaboards of Batanes.
• Up to 5.0 m: The northern seaboard of Babuyan Islands.
• Up to 4.5 m: The northern seaboard of mainland Cagayan; the remaining seaboard of Babuyan Islands.
• Sea travel is risky for all types or tonnage of vessels. All mariners must remain in port or, if underway, seek shelter or safe harbor as soon as possible until winds and waves subside.
• Up to rough seas over the following coastal waters:
• Up to 4.0 m: The seaboard of Isabela; the northern seaboard of Ilocos Norte; the remaining seaboard of mainland Cagayan.
• Up to 3.5 m: The seaboard of northern Aurora; the northern and eastern seaboards of Catanduanes.
• Up to 3.0 m: The seaboards of Ilocos Sur, Zambales, Kalayaan Islands, Camarines Norte, and Surigao del Sur; the western seaboards of Pangasinan, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Islands, and Palawan including Calamian Islands; the northern seaboard of Camarines Sur; the northern and eastern seaboards of Northern Samar; the eastern seaboards of Albay, Sorsogon, Eastern Samar, Dinagat Islands, Siargao—Bucas Grande Islands; the southern seaboards of Marinduque and Quezon; the remaining seaboard of Ilocos Norte.
• Up to moderate to rough seas over the following coastal waters:
• Up to 2.5 m: The seaboards of La Union, Cuyo Islands, Cagayancillo Islands, Romblon, and Antique; the western seaboards of Cavite, Batangas, Burias Islands, and Negros Occidental; the southern and eastern seaboards of Oriental Mindoro; the southern seaboards of Iloilo and Guimaras; the eastern seaboard of Davao Oriental; the remaining seaboards of Aurora and Quezon
• Up to 2.0 m: The seaboards of Zamboanga del Norte, Misamis Oriental, Camiguin, and Davao Occidental; the southern seaboards of Negros Oriental, Siquijor, Bohol, and Davao Oriental; the western and southern seaboards of Masbate; the eastern seaboard of northern Palawan including Calamian Islands; the remaining seaboards of Pangasinan, Iloilo, and Guimaras.
• Mariners of motorbancas and similarly sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigation under these conditions.
• Other coastal waters have forecast wave heights of less than 2.0 m.
• TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK
• It must be emphasized that heavy rainfall and severe winds may still be experienced in localities outside the forecast confidence cone. Refer to “Other Hazards affecting Land Areas” for more details. Furthermore, the track may still shift within the limit of the forecast confidence cone.
• INDAY has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at 08:20 AM today. It will continue moving generally northwestward towards the East China Sea and expected to make landfall over the eastern coast of mainland China tonight or tomorrow (12 July) morning.
• INDAY is forecast to remain as a typhoon within the next 12 hours before weakening into a severe tropical storm after moving further inland over mainland China.
